Meet the team

David Cameron, PT DPT

Born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. He then attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013.

He has over a decade of orthopedic outpatient experience and is passionate about seeing his clients improve, grow, and return to their active lifestyles. He is certified to treat golfers through the Titleist Performance Institute. He is also passionate about mentoring future leaders and seeing the profession of Physical Therapy grow into what it should be.

David is married and has two boys and lives in the Hoover community. He is an active member at Hunter Street Baptist Church.

Drew king

Drew grew up in Rome, Georgia, where a lifetime in sports sparked his love for human performance and movement. He carried that passion to Samford University, where he studied Exercise Science and gained hands-on experience in strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, and performance testing.

Since graduating in 2025, Drew brings experience in operations management and digital marketing, including building websites and helping local businesses grow their online presence. At BUILD, he helps to manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic so that every patient's experience runs smoothly. His personal mission is to make people feel seen and known, and he is passionate about building relationships with patients, local providers, and the community.

Drew recently moved back to the Birmingham area and is excited to be a part of the BUILD family.
